A Week in Silence

Last week, I had a tooth removed. Despite the pain, after the needles wore off, I’ve experienced a week in silence. I couldn’t talk and the only way I could communicate was by hitting the side of my bed if I needed something, or writing it down. And it got me thinking; how much do we miss out on by simply just talking and not actually ”listening” to what’s being said?
I’m feeling a lot better now, the wounds nearly healed and I’m looking forward to eating my first piece of Pizza this week.

So, how much do we really listen to what’s being said?
